Need help in tracking down mid-to-high income, no rental, family-centric, centrally located neighbourhoods in Brussels. Can anyone shed some light on this? This should make my on-line searching a lot easier.

Mine too!
Even Brusselaars seem to have a distorted view of their own city. Some say, this area is bad and the other thinks its great. Problem is that in daytime most places look great, but you only walk there during nighttime if you have a deathwish.

Anyone can list the no-go areas?

Central Station is one I think.
Parts of St. Joost.
