CBS has given early renewals to eleven series for the 2008-09 season.
The pickup includes the three series in the CSI franchise, as well as dramas Ghost Whisperer, Cold Case, NCIS, Criminal Minds, Without A Trace and Numb3rs, plus the comedy Two and a Half Men. The network has also given the go-ahead to a second season of new comedy The Big Bang Theory. Previously renewed were the reality series Survivor, for two new cycles, and The Amazing Race, for a 13th run.
