Hi Mia001,

We live in 2018 Antwerp. I am English/Irish, my husband is Belgian. I have been here since 2002 and know the expat network here in Antwerp pretty well. I am about to give birth to my first (at the tender age of 42!!) and will be at home on maternity leave from the first week of April 2008 until September when I start work again. Any advice/support/meeting up for coffee and a chat (not necessarily on motherhood!) would be more than welcome. Hope to hear from you soon!

Hey there 'Antwerpenaar',
Thanks for your reply. Wow, fantastic about the upcoming arrival of your new family member... any idea if its a boy or girl? When are you actually due? Anyway, I'd love to meet up and have a chat over coffee/hot-chocolate...happy to talk about anything and everything. When are you free?
Hope to hear from you soon.
cheers
Mia

Hi Mia,
Did you get my phone message? Sorry I haven't been in touch. My Mum died in the UK 9 days after Catalina was born so we have been back and forth to the UK four times (so far). Catalina is now 2 months old - time flies!

Still fancy meeting up for that coffee/hot chocolate?

S

Hi "S"
So sorry to hear about your Mum...
Yes I got your phone message..thanks. I've been meaning to email you to see how things were going, but just haven't had the chance.... in fact I was saying to my partner on the weekend that I really must contact you. So sorry I haven't.
Anyway, how are things going with little Catalina? Are you feeling completely sleep deprived?
I would definitely still like to catch up for a cuppa .... I have both kiddies at the moment as Kai is on school holidays so I'm a little restricted as to when and where. Any ideas???
Speak soon (feel free to ring if you still have my number)
cheers
Mia
