Does anyone know a timetable for the night bus from Amsterdam to Haarlem and also where it leaves from in Amsterdam (I assume it stop at the Haarlem train station?). Thanks very much.

I did a search on the Connexxion website for the niteliner 286 bus that runs Friday and Saturday nights (hope this link works):

We live in Halfweg and often want to go to Haarlem (my Dutchie's hometown) to visit friends or the Patronaat and have to either take a taxi, leave early or the Dutchie can't drink. Very annoying.  (sorry for the rant there!)

Crap. Doesn't work. You'll have to manually type in 286 where it says "Tik het lijnnummer of plaatsnaam in".

I've been trying to get that bus since November
 Honestly, wherever we try to catch it from, either the Marnixstraat or Leidseplein, it never seems to arrive, so we just get a taxi anyway. 40 euros is the maximum I will pay, between 2 people it's worth it for a 20 minute trip to your door when you are really drunk, especially when cold and wet outside

When I (thankfully, briefly) lived in that horrible city Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarleem, I had the last train ride back tattooed in my brain ... 01.17 ... it's now changed to 01.15 ... 2 more minutes to loath the place ... just move to Madsterdam (you KNOW ya wanna!
 ) and save the hassle!
