I am so very sure of the fact that so many of your lives were better when democrats were in office. There was no poverty. You had so much more money. You were so happy. The netherlands was so much more fun. But not with a republican in office. It doesnt matter who is in office. There will still be the same shit happening. You wont be any happier and the Netherlands wont feel any better. Will it? That is why this particular forum is useless.

K1,trying to convince everyone that this forum is useless is a waste of your precious time. If you find it useless, then you can post in one of our many other forum topics that you do not find useful.

Tell me something. How is this forum useful? What use does it serve? It is like going to church at best. Power in numbers, for no greater good. Just my opinion.

Hi K1,
What is useful for me may not be useful for you. That is the beauty of being an individual, is it not?

If these forums were created to target a bunch of clones, then I guess it would be pretty boring. Therefore, some of you fancy chatting in Democrats Abroad, while others prefer Dutch News, for example.

Different strokes for different folks, in other words. The only thing that remains consistent is the way you convey your opinions. Do it with respect for others, and you will have no problems.

Hope you can honor this simple request.

K1 -- I don't think you get it. Not everyone here plans to stay here forever. The current US admin is the reason that some people left the US. After finding the NL admin just as bad, some people want to return to the US. The outcome to the US elections is very important to some expats, even if it is not to you.

It would have made more sense to have the Democrats Abroad subforum as a sub-subforum of the USA Forum, but I don't think that is possible. Don't blame Expatica or the posters to this forum for that -- just don't read it!!!

PATHETIC! Leaving your country because of the administration is PATHETIC. We are not talking about Hitler here are we? And if you are the type that compares Bush to Hitler then you are a waste. Grow some balls and make a life for yourself. Find your own paradise. Obviously it is not in country hopping.

Oh gosh, a self-pitying whiney Democrat who pines about being in 'political exile' in Europe. Why not make the world a better place and do something that benefits someone? Oh wait, that means actually doing something.

Vomit, barf.

Trust me, you're safe in LA or New York, but the rest of the US is tired of listening to these kinds of people go on an on about intellectually superior they are and how the rest of us dumb yokels should listen to them tell us how we should run our lives.

Not.

Pray for Obama, since Hilary will be trounced.
