Did anyone out there come to Belgium for a job and found-- they don't like it? At all? I came to work in an industry that I never worked in before--possibly a big mistake, on top of regular adjustment issues. I found, well, that I just don't like it. That including I did all the necessary research (talked to people with the same job title, different companies, different countries). I like Belgium, just not the job. It just happens to be I am not particularly interested in this field, but here I am-- in a lease agreement, all my paperwork completed--just dissatisfied with the entire reason I came here. Any advice?

OK, so I know a lot of people are out there looking for jobs, and here I am complaining about mine. But seriously, some family issues have come up in the States as well, and I'm realizing I will not be able to stay. My employer, however, is with a good company, and I don't want to stick them. Anybody out there looking to work in insurance, who speaks Dutch (and French would also be useful), please contact me via my profile, and I will give you information about applying for when the job is posted.
